Horse Heaven is an original, one of a kind monotype with mixed media materials added onto it after printing. Yellow ribbon, lace, tarlatan, fragments of old prints, embroidery thread, Thai rice papers, and pastel were used in its final construction. I created this piece after the loss of one of my horse friends, Red as I imagined what a sunny day in horse heaven could look like.
